The KICKER KEY200.4 combines a 4-channel amplifier and advanced digital signal processing into one extremely compact package. Rather than simply adding more power, the KEY200.4 is designed to automatically analyze and tune your vehicle's audio system for improved tonal balance, imaging and overall sound quality.

With 50 watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms, the KEY200.4 provides a meaningful increase in speaker power while its built-in DSP handles much of the tuning work that would normally require specialized equipment and extensive manual adjustment.

The included calibration microphone allows the KEY200.4 to automatically configure its 40-band equalizer, time alignment, speaker levels and speaker-size-related settings. Automatic 40-Band EQ

One of the KEY200.4's biggest advantages is its built-in 40-band automatic equalizer.

Factory audio systems frequently use equalization that is designed around the original speakers and vehicle acoustics. Installing different speakers does not necessarily eliminate those factory tuning characteristics.

The KEY200.4 can analyze the system and automatically make EQ adjustments as part of its setup process.

This allows the amplifier to work as both a power amplifier and an audio processor, rather than simply increasing the signal going to the speakers.

Automatic Time Alignment

Speaker locations inside a vehicle are not equal distances from the driver.

The driver's-side speaker may be much closer than the passenger-side speaker, which can affect the way different frequencies and stereo information reach the listening position.

The KEY200.4's automatic time-alignment function is designed to compensate for these differences and improve the system's overall imaging.

KICKER allows the automatic time-alignment function to be defeated if desired.

Automatic Speaker Size Detection

The KEY200.4 can automatically detect speaker characteristics during its setup process and use that information as part of its tuning.

Bi-Amp Capability

The KEY200.4 includes selectable electronic crossover processing with 24dB/octave filtering.

The selectable high-pass settings are:

• 120Hz

These settings can help protect smaller speakers and allow the amplifier to focus on the frequency range your speakers are designed to reproduce.

The crossover can be defeated when full-range operation is preferred.

FIT2™ Factory Integration Technology
