This is the amplifier's highest standard 4-channel output rating.

That makes it an excellent match for many aftermarket speakers rated in the 75–100W RMS range.

65 Watts x 4 at 4 Ohms

When connected to standard 4-ohm speakers, the CXA360.4 delivers:

This makes it an excellent option for powering conventional 4-ohm aftermarket door speakers while maintaining a clean, controlled power source.

180 Watts x 2 Bridged

The CXA360.4 can also be configured in bridged mode to produce:

180W RMS x 2 at 4 Ohms

This opens up another installation possibility.

Instead of using all four channels independently, you can bridge the amplifier's channels to provide substantially more power to two compatible 4-ohm speakers.

This can be useful for specialized system configurations or when additional power is desired for a pair of speakers.

Always verify that the speaker impedance is compatible with the amplifier when using bridged operation.

Class A/B Power

Unlike KICKER's CX mono subwoofer amplifiers, which use Class-D technology, the CXA360.4 uses a Class A/B full-range amplifier design.

High-Pass Example

When powering door speakers, a high-pass filter can be used to reduce extremely low frequencies that the door speakers may not reproduce efficiently.

Low-Pass Example

When configuring an amplifier section for a specialized midbass or other low-frequency application, the low-pass setting can restrict the upper frequency range.

Proper crossover selection depends on the speakers, enclosure, vehicle and overall system design.

KickEQ™ Bass Boost

The CXA360.4 includes KICKER's KickEQ™ variable bass boost.

Adjustment range:

0–6dB @ 40Hz

This gives the installer additional control over low-frequency response.

For door-speaker applications, we recommend using bass boost conservatively.

The goal should be to achieve clean, balanced output rather than simply adding as much low-frequency boost as possible.
